Lilwin Flies Ramsey Noah, Awilo, Others From Nigeria To Feature In His New Movie

Lilwin has brought some of the biggest names in Nollywood to Ghana for a film project dubbed a Country Called Ghana.

The Kumawood actor was captured on video at Kotoka International Airport, where he met with Ramsey Nouah and Victor Osuagwu, two of the cast members for the upcoming movie.

To shed light on the presence of these Nigerian superstars in Ghana, Lilwin has scheduled a media event on February 21, 2024, during which he will provide further details about the movie.

Unconfirmed reports are suggesting that Lilwin initially wanted to cast Martha Ankomah in the film, but she declined, leading to a dispute between them.

This recent development has sparked a range of opinions online, particularly about the ongoing court case between Martha Ankomah and Lilwin, which catalyzed the lawsuit.

Martha Ankomah has filed a lawsuit against Lilwin following his infamous verbal assault on her through social media due to her decision to distance herself from Kumawood.

According to the writ, failure on his part to comply may result in a judgment being made in Martha Ankomah’s favour in his absence.

Lilwin recently recorded a video of himself expressing his anger towards actress Martha Ankomah. The reason behind his frustration was Martha’s alleged derogatory comments about Kumawood movies.

It is reported that Martha Ankomah declined an offer to be a part of a Kumawood project, stating that their storylines were terrible and their productions were inferior.

Lilwin, who is often seen as the face of Kumawood, strongly criticized Martha Ankomah for her remarks. He believed that instead of using foul language, Martha Ankomah could have simply declined the offer or asked for an exorbitant fee that would make it impossible for the producer to afford her.

In a heated tone, Lilwin expressed his disappointment, stating that Martha Ankomah had lost her relevance and was only making such comments to stay in the limelight.

He reminded her that A-list actresses like Van Vicker and Yvonne Nelson had previously worked in Kumawood, emphasizing that Martha was nobody compared to them.
