MC Jessya’s Biography

MC Jessy’s real name is Jasper Muthomi. He was born in Meru County, Kenya on January 21, 1993. A few weeks after making his television debut as a guest on The Phoenix and Churchill Show in season 2, Churchill requested him to host the program as a guest. As a result of its success, Churchill Raw, his own segment, was created.

He earned a bachelor degree in communications from Daystar University before he became well-known. From 2010 to 2012, Jasper wed Nkirote, his high school love. Together, they have a son. In 2017, he started dating Shix Kapienga.

He went to St. Cyprian Boys High School in Meru for his high school education after attending primary school in Embu County. It was not an easy trip through high school, but with the help of well-wishers, he was able to graduate and eventually pursue a communications degree at Daystar University.

As mentioned earlier, his big break occurred when he met Daniel Ndambuki, a fellow comic and mentor who goes by the stage name “Churchill,” at Carnivore, and made the decision to engage him.

He was given the opportunity to appear on the Churchill Show by Churchill. He was given the opportunity to host “Churchill Raw” after making multiple appearances on the show and presenting it once.

Meanwhile, it has also emerged that the comedian is romantically involved with Nancy Wanjiku aka Shix Kapienga. She is said to be a radio presenter at Hot 96 and a recognized and celebrated Kenyan actress. Rumours of the pair dating gained momentum after MC Jessy treated her to a surprise birthday celebration in Dubai. They have also been spotted on several occasions together in public.

MC Jessy’s parents are unknown although in a handful of interviews, he has revealed clues about his background. In a previous interview with Speaking to Mpasho.co.ke, MC Jessy said he was born and raised in Meru County. He also recounted that he was born into a polygamous home.
