I come from a polygamous family. We are on good terms in all of them. We have never known the differences. Some uncles, I used to think they are my brothers since we grew up together. Meru culture doesn’t make you feel like you don’t belong. People love me, the only problem is that they were poor. I felt alone when I came to Nairobi.”
