Medikal Offers ‘Protection’ For Cyber Bully Bongo Ideas
Rapper Medikal, who has also been a target of Bongo Ideas’ cyberbullying and online terrorism, has stepped up to defend himself against allegations of being kidnapped and assaulted by the national security apparatus.
Ever since news broke about Bongo’s unfortunate situation, a wide range of internet users have expressed their delight and praised whoever was responsible for the attack, which supposedly took place a few days ago in the early hours of the morning while he was asleep.
Nevertheless, Medikal firmly believes that, regardless of his mischievous behaviour, it is unjustifiable for him to endure the mistreatment he was subjected to.
He took this opportunity to condemn any wrongdoing committed by the security agencies against the young man, if indeed they were involved.
“No matter how Bongo is, I don’t think he deserves to be treated in any inhumane way. All though he steps on loads of people (including me) I want to see my Sowutuom Boy safe and sound,” he wrote on X.
A few days ago, reports went viral claiming that unidentified men wearing police uniforms picked up Bongo Ideas at dawn. According to the report, which the troll’s sister confirmed in an interview with Zionfelix, Bongo Ideas was taken away to an undisclosed destination.
She said she and the rest of the family searched multiple police stations but the social commentator was nowhere to be located. As for the alleged detention, social media users who left comments pointed to his recent attacks on the president and his wife as the cause.
But the police moved quickly stormed social media to dispel the rumours, contacting a family member who verified Bongo’s location.
In a Facebook statement, the Ghana Police Service emphasized how crucial it is to confirm information before disseminating it, especially on social networking sites where false information may spread swiftly.
They advised the public to trust official sources for up-to-date information on these subjects.
