Medikal’s ‘Strange’ Tweet Sparks Divorce Rumors
Even before the dust of Yvonne Nelson’s explosive exposé packed in her new memoir settles down, Medikal has muddied the waters with his own domestic issues.
In a tweet, the Rapper of the Year at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards hinted that he has reached the tipping point and is considering severing ties with his actress wife Fella Makafui.
He tweeted, “Marriage is not for creatives, maybe not for me. I tried.”
In a sequel to the aforementioned, tweet, Medikal mentioned that even God can attest to the fact that he gave his all to the marriage to solidify and make it work.

Back in 2022 around December, Medikal and his wife Fella Makafui dispelled rumors of their separation after they were seen out together, despite popular reports to the contrary.
The couple fuelled rumours of separation with cryptic messages, and after a protracted period of silence, the couple finally appeared in public to reaffirm that their relationship has not ended and, in fact, has gotten stronger.
Medikal and Fella Makafui were among the few people invited to singer Elsie Duncan-Williams’ birthday celebration, which was held at one of Shatta Wale’s mansions in Accra in December 2022.
Bloggers documented Fella and Medikal’s public exhibition of love and the fleeting kisses that occurred whenever their eyes connected which showed that there was no iota of truth in the break up report at that time.
