Moment Christian Atsu’s Wife And Children Arrived at Funeral Ground

The late Christian Atsu’s wife and his children have been spotted at the funeral of the former Chelsea marksman.

Atsu’s final rites are presently ongoing at the forecourt of the State House. Family members, friends, celebs, politicians and several mourners have joined the Twasam family in bidding farewell to the former Ghanaian international.

Atsu disappeared on February 6, 2023, shortly after the Turkey-Syria earthquake; it was thought that he might be among those who were buried beneath the debris of Hatayspor’s Antakya headquarters as a result of the earthquake.

Hours before the earthquake, Atsu was supposed to leave southern Turkey by plane, but according to Hatayspor’s manager, he remained with the team after scoring the match-winning goal on February 5.

Atsu was rescued and recuperating in a hospital, according to club vice president Mustafa Özat on February 7; however, manager Volkan Demirel reported on February 8 that Atsu and sporting director Taner Savut were still missing.

His agent confirmed his death on February 18 after Atsu’s body was found in the rubble of the structure he was living in.

Meanwhile, Chrisitan Atsu’s wife, Marie-Claire Rupio was seen with her children and her extended family members. Netizens commented about the sad moment and the emotional trauma she might be going through as depicted in the comments sighted by Tru News Report.
