My Workers Steal From Me- Reggie Rockstone Cries Out

Rapper and entrepreneur Reggie Rockstone has expressed his concerns about the challenges he faces with his employees. He mentioned that despite implementing strict measures, he revealed that there have been instances of theft within his waakye business.

In an interview with Abieku Santana on the popular Atuu show, the rapper and dancer credited his wife for being the backbone of his business, emphasizing that her support has been crucial in preventing the business from failing due to the dishonesty of some employees.

Reggie told Abeiku Santana, “My wife gets upset when we talk about this issue. With the challenge, they [employees] steal a lot.

Even as we are speaking, someone is on it. We have been putting systems in place, but they also found a way to counter it. We have even installed CCTV cameras around yet they get a way to do it [stealing money].”

His business venture, Rockz Waakye, has branches in Accra, Cape Coast and other parts of the country.

The negative behaviour came to light when rapper and entrepreneur Nhyiraba Kojo shared with the media his own experience with it.

Serving as the CEO of NK City Nightclub in Cape Coast, Accra, and Takoradi, Kojo revealed that his employees have been stealing from him. He on the other hand said despite facing this challenge, he remains determined to continue investing in his business.

He remarked, “It’s crazy but you have to be strong I mean it’s everywhere because even someone who has established a small business in a container will tell you it’s not been easy.

“As compared to you who want to do big business to reach all over the place, it’s not something which is so flexible but still we have to do it irrespective of the challenges.

“Sometimes when you love doing something so much or you’re passionate about something you feel like doing it even when your workers are stealing from you.

“My workers do steal from me a lot and it’s like even when they are stealing then you continue to invest in the business so I feel honoured to be a hustler who has established a business to employ others,2 he said in an interview on Property FM.
