The lawyer has now been charged for assaulting some police officers. According to Citi News, on January 16, Nana Agradaa was rearrested at the Accra Circuit Court for an unknown crime.

Already, she’s standing trial for charlatanic advertisements and defrauding by false pretense.

Her lawyer is reported to have resisted Agradaa’s arrest, and in the process abused the police verbally.

He has been charged for abuse of a public officer, contrary to Section 205 (c) of the Criminal Offences Act. The other count is Offensive conduct conducive to breach of peace contrary to section 207 of the criminal Offences Act.

His plea is yet to be taken. Meanwhile, the lawyer has filed an injunction against the police insisting they lacked the jurisdiction to arrest and charge him.
