Felicity Ama Agyemang, born August 15, 1977, also known as Nana Ama McBrown, is a Ghanaian actress, television personality, and music writer.

She was born in Kumasi to Cecilia Agyenim Boateng and Kwabena Nkrumah, who divorced when she was a child. Kofi McBrown and her aunt, Madam Betty Obiri Yeboah, adopted her and her siblings as a result of the death of her father and her mother’s inability to care for her and her six siblings.

McBrown’s adoptive father and aunt raised her in Kwadaso, Kumasi, along with her six siblings. McBrown considers her aunt to be her “real mother” and has expressed gratitude to her for providing a loving environment.

J.S.S. until she dropped out and was unable to take the Basic Education Certificate Exams. McBrown later attended the College of Business and obtained a certificate in secretarial studies.

Career

McBrown’s acting career began when she responded to a radio audition call by Miracle Films and was hired to do costuming instead; however, on the set, she was given the lead role because the director, Samuel Nyamekye, believed she was better qualified for the part.
