NDC Holds Thanksgiving Service At Perez Chapel Following Successful Congress

Following the party’s successful congress a few weeks ago, the leaders in the NDC visited the Perez Chapel today, January 8, 2023, for a Thanksgiving Service.

Among those present were the party’s new National Chairman, Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, General Secretary Fifi Kwetey, MP for Ningo – Prampram Samuel Nartey George, and national executives.

During the service Archbishop Charles Agyinasare, founder of the Perez Chapel International urged the politicians not to use their positions to amass wealth for personal gain.

In a sermon, the preacher stated that politicians must use their positions to serve the public interest rather than steal state resources.

He also urged political parties seeking to gain the power to communicate their policies and avoid engaging in unhealthy debates as the country seeks solutions to the many economic challenges it faces.

When the newly elected NDC party officials paid a thanksgiving visit to the Perez Chapel, Asiedu Nketiah urged the congregation to pray instead for “the government that we need.”

He warned that the country must be cautious of selecting a wrong choice in the 2024 elections since God has given humans the capacity to make choices, each of which has its own implications.

“Instead of praying for the NDC to win, pray for our country to obtain the administration we need. God has given us free will, and it is up to us to determine how we want to live “He said.
