New Twist: Snoop Dogg’s Name Pops Up In 2Pac’s Murder Case

In a surprising development surrounding the ongoing investigation into the tragic murder of the renowned rapper and actor 2Pac Shakur, Suge Knight has implicated Snoop Dogg, a close friend of the deceased, in the case.

Knight, the incarcerated founder of Death Row Records who was present in the car with 2Pac on the fateful night he was shot in Las Vegas, raised questions about Snoop’s potential involvement in the untimely demise of the rap icon during a highly charged segment on his podcast Collect Call.

While addressing rumors surrounding Diddy’s alleged connection to 2Pac’s murder, Knight shifted his focus to Snoop, expressing his desire for a direct conversation with his former artist, who currently holds ownership of Death Row Records.

“As far as the Puffy situation, I really, really, really gotta have a real conversation with Snoop,” he said. “I knew that ‘Pac did everything right by him by putting him on All Eyez On Me, speaking about him and being real with him.

“And if it’s true what they say, face-to-face it’s gonna be a lot of explaining to do.”

Knight made a number of other claims, including that Snoop Dogg told Tha Dogg Pound rapper Daz Dillinger not to go to Vegas with the rest of the Death Row crew the night of September 7, 1996 as “something’s gonna happen.”

Suge further responded to comments made by Warren G on Drink Champs, where he recounted the moment when he and Snoop discovered the news of 2Pac’s shooting via a Nextel “radio” while in Los Angeles.

“The only way you would have a radio is if you was at the fight with us and he had a security detail,” Knight said. “By him not having a security detail, what are you doing with a radio? […] Why would you have a play-by-play on the radio?”

Suge further responded to comments made by Warren G on Drink Champs, where he recounted the moment when he and Snoop discovered the news of 2Pac’s shooting via a Nextel “radio” while in Los Angeles.

Tru News Report previously reported that Suge Knight has declined to provide testimony against Duane “Keefe D” Davis in the 2Pac murder case, despite being an eyewitness to the shooting that occurred in 1996.

TMZ conducted a phone interview with the co-founder of Death Row Records on Monday (October 2) to gather his thoughts on the recent developments in the ongoing investigation into 2Pac’s homicide.

These developments led to the arrest of Keefe D by the Las Vegas police last week. The 60-year-old former gang member has been formally charged with “murder with the use of a deadly weapon with the intent to promote, further, or assist a criminal gang.” This marks the first instance of charges being filed in this case, which is now 27 years old.

“Well, surprise, number one,” Suge said while reacting to the news. “Because I don’t think Keefe D would ever get arrested, nor do I want to see him get arrested.

“Let’s get one thing straight, first and foremost: me and Keefe D played on the same Pop Warner football team. And whatever circumstances — if he had an involvement with anything, if he didn’t have an involvement with anything, I wouldn’t wish somebody going to prison on my worst enemy.”

Knight, who is currently incarcerated serving a 28-year sentence for voluntary manslaughter, asserted that Orlando Anderson, Keefe D’s nephew, was not the gunman, despite widespread perception to the contrary.
