Nhyiraba Kojo Pledges To support Funny Face With Ghc₵20,000
Ghanaian rapper and businessman Nhyiraba Kojo has announced his intention to donate a generous amount of GH₵20,000 to Funny Face during his recent appearance on the popular United Showbiz show on UTV.
Kojo emphasized the importance of showing empathy towards Funny Face, rather than passing judgment on him.
He expressed his belief in giving Funny Face a second chance and helping him reintegrate into society. Additionally, Nhyiraba Kojo urged for prayers for Funny Face, recognizing that anyone could face similar challenges.
Kojo made his statement several days following Funny Face’s tragic accident in Kasoa, where he hit five pedestrians, including a motorcyclist and a passenger.
The incident allegedly occurred while Funny Face was driving under the influence of alcohol on his way to church (Kingdom Hall) for the first time in a long time.
Furthermore, Funny Face recently provided an update on the condition of the victims involved in the accident stating that they are recovering well and responding positively to treatment.
Contrary to rumours circulating about their demise, Funny Face clarified that no one has lost their life and that everyone is in stable condition.
The comedian, whose real name is Benson Nana Yaw Oduro Boateng, explained that the accident occurred when he swerved to avoid a collision with a motorcyclist and their passenger, inadvertently hitting a woman and her grandchild.
In light of the situation, Funny Face appealed to the Ghanaian public to assist in covering the hospital expenses, as he currently lacks the financial means to do so himself.
These revelations were made during an exclusive interview with journalist and YouTuber Kofi Adoma Nwanwani, shortly after Funny Face’s release on bail from prison.
During an interview, he acknowledged that Ghanaians may be tired of him and his troubles, expressing remorse and seeking forgiveness.
He expressed a desire for a second chance to regain the public’s affection and restore his standing in society.
