Nick Cannon Regrets Not Having A Child With Christina Milian

Nick Cannon confessed in a recent interview with The Shade Room that he regrets not having a child with ex-girlfriend Christina Milian.

“If I say this, I know this gonna go viral,” the 42-year-old told The Shade Room when asked which of his former flames he wishes he created a new life with. “But when Christina Milian and I were doing Love “Don’t Cost a Thing,“ I remember when I found out she was pregnant…I was like, ‘Dang, man,’ but I was so happy for her.”

“I remember we was kids in love early on and so we talked about that, but to each his own,” the comedian continued. “Life plans it out. The universe gives it how it’s supposed to be given.”

The two starred in the 2003 cult film “Love Don’t Cost A Thing”. Cannon portrayed a nerdy car specialist who volunteered to assist Milian’s character, the “it” girl at their school, with her vehicle damage in exchange for her posing as his girlfriend and assisting him in becoming famous.  They dated for two years after starring in the same film.

Their relationship ended, and they went their own ways. Christina stated years after their breakup that she had hacked Nick’s phone and discovered him cheating. This caused their separation.

“All the time we were together, I heard nothing. No rumors, no gossip, and then all of a sudden I’m in Romania and I start hearing stuff,” Milian told WENN in a post-split interview. “The whole time with different girls, not just one, but different girls. He said to me that these girls helped his ego and made him look good.”

But Cannon told the UK news network that he told Milian when their courtship first began that he wasn’t interested in a “Christian relationship.”

“I was wrong for not being what she wanted me to be. She knew from the jump. We were friends for months before we even got into it, and when we got into it, I was like … ‘Yo, anything remotely like a relationship, I don’t want no parts of it,'” Cannon said.

“I was just in a relationship, about to be married, been celibate for almost two years … It was a Christian relationship. We didn’t have sex for a year and a half. We were going to ministry-couple classes, premarital classes,” Cannon added.

But the actor has come a long way since his relationship with Milian.

“If I didn’t say it before, I do apologize,” Cannon told Christina on his radio show. “I’m sorry for the things that I did. We was young. I was young, I was silly.”
