No Need To Leave Ghana If You Earn GHC 5,000 And Above- Serwaa Amihere
Serwaa Amihere has urged the youth who are eager to leave Ghana to reconsider if they earn a salary of GHC 5,000 or more.
The news anchor and goddaughter of Nana Aba Anamoah argues that life abroad is not as glamorous as it is often portrayed, with many Africans in the diaspora facing financial challenges and not achieving the fortune they had hoped for.
In light of this, Serwaa believes it would be wise for individuals who are earning a sufficient income in Ghana to stay in their home country.
Her tweet read “I think if you are in your 20s and 30s and earning, at least, Ghs5000 and above you shouldn’t rush to leave Ghana. It’s not all that rosy out there”.
Serwaa is known for her uplifting social media posts aimed at inspiring young people and she was in that element a few weeks ago when she advised the youth to avoid comparing their relationships to those of others.
Serwaa Amihere pointed out that many couples who flaunt their relationships on social media are simply seeking validation and attention.
The TV personality emphasized the importance of staying true to oneself and focusing on what truly works for each individual, rather than trying to emulate others.
“No one’s relationship should be your “couple goals” . People are doing things for the likes and views. Do what works for you,” she said in a tweet she shared.
