Nobody Can Force Me To Conduct DNA For Mohbad’s Son- Wife
Omowunmi Aloba, the wife of Mohbad, has stated that the requests made by her late husband’s family and other Nigerians for a DNA test on their son will not be entertained as she is not prepared for it.
Despite previously showing her willingness to prove the paternity, she has now expressed that she is not ready for the test, deeming the request unfair as she claims the late musician was the only person she had been intimate with.
In an audio message circulating online, the mother of one emphasized that only her deceased husband had the authority to request a DNA test from her.
Wunmi said: “Mohbad disvirgined me; nobody has the right to tell me to do a DNA test. I have never slept with any man except him. I will never do any DNA; no one can tell me to do DNA except I wish to. Koni daa fun gbogbo yin ranting about DNA.”
Tru News Report previously revealed that Wunmi Aloba vehemently denied the claims made by blogger Bukky Jesse through her legal representative, Salawu, Akingbolu & Co that she had finally done the DNA test.
The UK-based Nigerian blogger had made serious allegations, stating that the law firm had secretly conducted a DNA test on Mohbad’s son, Liam, in collaboration with a private hospital.
Furthermore, Bukky Jesse accused Wunmi of not only being responsible for her husband’s demise but also of seizing Mohbad’s assets.
The blogger claimed that Wunmi intended to utilize media coverage to gather evidence that she could present to a foreign embassy to seek asylum and escape Nigeria with her son.
However, in a statement released a few hours after Jesse’s allegation, the legal team categorically refuted these allegations, asserting that they hold no truth whatsoever.
They described Bukky Jesse as a “self-serving, jobless attention seeker and overseas fugitive” who resorts to defaming individuals of integrity to gain online followers and make money.
But in a disclaimer issued on Wednesday, the legal team said that the allegation has no iota of truth but one made by a “self-serving, jobless attention seeker and overseas fugitive” who believes in making money by maligning people with integrity to attract followers on the Internet
