NPP Polls: Female Delegate Angry After Money Sent To Them By Kennedy Agyapong Fell Into Wrong Hands

A delegate representing the Ashaiman electoral area has disclosed that funds provided by Kennedy Agyapong have been misused, potentially jeopardizing his chances in the ongoing New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential primaries.

The delegate alleged that a high-ranking individual has kept the money for themselves, with only a select few benefiting while the majority are left in the dark.

The delegate, identified as Dorcas, expressed disappointment and urged Ken to intervene before the situation worsened.

Dorcas spoke exclusively to Tru News Report at the Tema East-Twedaase JHS No. 11, where she was taken by an unknown person.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, the Member of Parliament for the Ablekuma West constituency, has confidently predicted that Kennedy Agyapong will not emerge victorious in the ongoing voting by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to elect a flagbearer for the party in the 2024 elections.

She further asserts that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will win with a resounding 80% of the votes in her constituency. With a total of 203,439 delegates expected to cast their ballots across the country, the MP and Minister of Communications believe that Kennedy Agyapong will soon realize the overwhelming support for Vice President Bawumia’s candidature.

In a media interview at her constituency on Saturday, November 4, 2023, Mrs Owusu-Ekuful confidently stated her position.

“I know what the kingmakers in this constituency have told me. Bawumia will secure nothing less than 80 per cent of the votes. Everybody will their smoothness level in this constituency.”
