Tuendelee, “released in 2004, was one of the group’s most popular songs, garnering them a dozen nominations and awards, gaining attention from proponents of entertainment in Kenya. In 2009, the trio disbanded after both members decided to pursue solo endeavours.

After Kleptomaniac’s disbandment, Nyashinski took a 10-year hiatus from musical activity; he returned in 2016. In 2017, his song “Malaika” won the Mdundo Award for Most Downloaded Male Single.

The musician became a father for the first time on Friday, March 13, 2020. The artiste took to his social media platforms and thanked God for the blessing, which he termed the “most precious gift” in his life. In a tweet, the Mungu Pekee crooner wrote: “Thank you, God, for the most precious gift”.

Then a few months into 2023, he and his wife welcomed their second child.
