People Mounting Pressure For Funny Face To Be Jailed

The family affected by the fatal accident caused by Funny Face in Kakraba, Kasoa last month, has expressed their frustration over the relentless pressure they have been facing from certain individuals and even journalists to press charges against the comedian.

Nana Akomea, the grandfather of the two children who were victims of the accident, revealed during Funny Face’s visit with the family and his management team that numerous people, including some media outlets, have urged them to exert influence on law enforcement agencies to ensure Funny Face’s imprisonment.

During the discussion, Nana Akomea, who identified himself as the victims’ grandfather, mentioned that the family has been approached by individuals urging them to push for Funny Face’s imprisonment.

However, he stated that the family has chosen not to pursue that route as they have already forgiven him upon seeing his remorse.

“People are seeking Funny Face’s downfall. We have been receiving calls from some persons, radio and TV stations asking us to take this up and I have been shocked at how people want to destroy him.

“The pressure from some people asking us to bring Funny Face down is not easy. Bring the camera close for them to see my face because I want this video to go viral so please share.

“I want the television stations and radio stations to know that I’m the Nana Akomea they have been speaking to,” he said.

The development came to light when Funny Face and his team, accompanied by journalist and YouTuber Kofi Nwanwani, visited the family home of the victims to offer an apology for the accident.

The family welcomed Funny Face and his team warmly, leading to a meaningful conversation. They advised Funny Face to strengthen his relationship with God to facilitate the restoration of his life.
