“Poverty Mindset Will Make You Talk Like You Get Sense” – Shatta Wale Defends Meek Mill

Although many Ghanaians have voiced their displeasure with American rapper Meek Mill’s viral shoot at Jubilee House, Dancehall musician Charles Nii Armah Mensah disagrees.

The Kakai hitmaker is probably furious by the unfavorable reaction from certain Ghanaians regarding the video, and he is referring to those who have criticized the film as “villagers.”

In a previous tweet on Monday, January 9, he stated, “You wan go America go take pictures for White House. You say “year of return” and your own black brother come to shoot video as he return home you bore. You are a villager trust me!!!”

Many Ghanaians, including former government officials and certain Members of Parliament (MPs), have spoken out against the video’s content, which exposes areas of the Jubilee House, including the podium of President Akufo-Addo, sparking discussions on social media.

Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the representative for North Tongu, has demanded the immediate removal of those guilty for the “despicable vandalism of the Jubilee House.”

Since the American Rapper released a clip on his Twitter, it seems to have offended a number of Ghanaians, with Shatta Wale maybe being the only prominent individual to publicly support the video.
