PR Firm Parts Ways With Jonathan Majors Following Assault Charges

The public relations firm representing actor Jonathan Majors has severed ways with him following his assault charges.

After he was charged with multiple misdemeanour counts of assault and harassment, The Lede Company confirmed that they have “stepped away” from working with the actor.

Three weeks after his arrest, Majors, known for his roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and “Creed III,” was dropped by his management company.

Jonathan Majors was arrested in New York City on March 25, after police responded to a call in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighbourhood in connection with an alleged assault.

As a result of the incident, he was charged with multiple misdemeanour counts of assault and harassment by the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.

Days after the charges, the US Army decided to part ways with Jonathan Majors as a representative for their advertising campaign.

Priya Chaudhry, the criminal defence attorney for Majors, came out to say that they have gotten two written statements from the woman in question retracting her assault remarks.

“We are quickly gathering and presenting evidence to the District Attorney with the expectation that all charges will be dropped imminently.” She told Army Times.

Later in March, Priya Chaudhry told TMZ that the lady in question texted actor hours after his detention, “admitting that she was the one who used physical force against him.”

In the texts Chaudhry claims the woman sent, she expresses her anger about Jonathan’s handcuffing… and she adds, “Will make sure nothing happens about this. I told them it was my fault for trying to grab your phone.”
