Rapperholic: Sarkodie Names 2023 Edition, ‘Rebirth’

Sarkodie is currently preparing for his highly anticipated annual event, Rapperholic, which is dedicated to his loyal fans and attracts partygoers from all over the country.

This year’s edition, titled “The Rebirth,” will take place on December 25, 2023, at the prestigious Grand Arena in Accra, Ghana. At this time, the lineup of artists who will be joining the acclaimed African rap star on stage remains undisclosed.

Over the past decade, Rapperholic, spearheaded by King Sark has become the must-attend event for rap enthusiasts throughout Ghana, with eager anticipation building each year.

Notable artists such as KiDi, Fameye, Black Sherif, Obrafour, Kofi Jamar, Adina, Darkovibes, Sefa, Gyakie, Epixode, and Jamaica’s Kranium, among others, have graced the Rapperholic stage in the past.

Sarkodie was in the news not too long ago when he took to Facebook to reveal his near-death experience with other passengers onboard Delta Airlines while he was on his way to Detroit for a show.

In the post sighted by Tru News Report on his Facebook page, the ‘Landlord of Ghana Music’ mentioned that the aircraft on which he was travelling had to make an emergency landing on an island in Portugal after they experienced technical issues mid-air.

To make matters worse, the airline poorly handled the whole fiasco, offered no apology or refund, and even treated them to hours of delays at the airport where they landed. The Ghanaian rapper said he thereafter learned that Delta Airlines has developed a penchant for subjecting their loyal customers to this kind of treatment.
