Reactions As ‘Broke’ Funny Face Wants To Adopt The Children He Knocked Down With His Car

A flurry of reactions has been shared online following the announcement made by the embattled Ghanaian comedian Funny Face regarding his intention to adopt the children he accidentally hit with his car during the tragic accident.

Derrick Kobina Bonney (DKB), his colleague who has been supporting him through these challenging times, shared on social media that he has received Funny Face’s approval to disclose his mobile money details for financial aid from well-wishers.

Furthermore, DKB mentioned that Funny Face expressed his desire to adopt the children as a gesture of remorse for his irresponsible driving that endangered their lives.

Announcing this is a post he shared via social media, DKB said “BREAKING NEWS!!!!

1. Funnyface reached out to officially give out his momo details to me for public support to help him treat the victims.

2. To prove his remorse and repentance, Funny face promises to ADOPT the 1yr and 5yrs old kids involved in the accident”.

Some social media users are skeptical about the idea of Funny Face wanting to adopt the children who were in the accident. They believe that Funny Face is financially struggling and may not be in a position to take care of the children as he may need assistance himself.

See what some of them are saying:

MizSika Akucelah: Someone who couldn’t take care of his own kids 🌚 wants to adopt! 😎 a country call Ghana!Until he takes responsibility for his actions he will never change!

Sandra Agyei: I just don’t understand him , you have a house , cars and a land of your own for once appreciate God he likes complaining too much what of those of us renting and always taking trotro he should for once be grateful

ChickyRozay RichForever: For the adoption I think it’s out of place. He shouldn’t use emotions to promise things he cannot keep. They say charity begins at home. He should first give maximum security to his own kids, adore them with all they need and then he can look outside to extend help to others kids. We honestly sympathize with him, but he should be careful with emotional promises.

Yasmin Yasmin: I don’t understand why people are upset that he is being treated differently. The guy has mental issues and our laws treat such people differently ( whether you like it or not) Get him help!! Not Punishment

Queenslyn Fliskyblisklyn: Nana Akua Adepa where you in his house Madam chop your house matter first before jumping into someone’s own If you can support, help him and stop adding more fire in it

Another social media user said “Funny face, you don’t have a job, you’re not stable. You can’t take care of your own kids, now you want to adopt the 2 kids you hit ? Maybe I don’t understand. You can’t burden anyone and when you seek for their help and they’re not able to do so, you will say the switch on you. Look let me find my own peace.”
