Redsan’s Children: Does Redsan Have Children

Renowned Kenyan reggae artiste Redsan, whose real name is Swabri Mohammed, is married and has four wonderful children.

He is one of the most popular ragga and dancehall performers in East Africa. The success of Redsan has spread throughout the rest of Africa, as well as to some regions of Europe, the United States, and the Middle East.

In 1998, he won the Star Search competition at Nairobi’s Carnivore discothèque, marking the beginning of his professional music career. His debut solo album, Seasons of the San, was released in 2002 under the Ogopa Djs moniker. Songs like “Julie” and “Wanipa Raha” from this album catapulted him to stardom in Kenya, East Africa, and beyond. After launching his career, Swabri Mohammed dropped his second album on Southwest Records. Bageya, a collaboration between the Ugandan musician Chameleone and himself, was also included.

Who are Redsan’s children

Redsan and his wife, Viverz Mohammed, have four wonderful children. He is a private person who values personal space for himself and his loved ones. He also wants to offer them security from cyberbullies. He has never flaunted his wife or children on social media or been seen in any entertainment in Kenya events, so very little is known about his life outside of music and the spotlight.

Even though Redsan is a private person, a picture of his son has been pop up online. For the first time, he revealed his son’s face to the world on social media, but he quickly removed the picture.

When asked if he was married in an interview in 2020, he answered, “I am married, but you’ll never see my family, not even on social media. I’m very private when it comes to them because there are times they would want to be themselves, and they can’t do that with me in public.

“I love spending time with them at home since I tour a lot, and they keep me grounded. I don’t want them to be victims of cyber-attacks from haters who can’t get to me.”

“My wife doesn’t like the limelight… You might decide to expose your family, and then people will compare and criticise them. She always tells me to keep my family life away from social media and to post only my work and nothing else. She says the family and my work should be two very different entities.”
