‘Render An Unqualified Apology To Sarkodie’-Presidential Staffer To Blakk Rasta

Charles Nii Teiko Tagoe a presidential staff member, is the most recent person who has joined the growing list of critics of reggae musician Blakk Rasta.

Charles Tagoe, responding to Blakk Rasta on Facebook, said that, given the content of Blakk Rasta’s music, he owes Sarkodie an apology. He thinks Blakk Rasta owes rapper Sarkodie an apology for saying that Sark’s appearance on “Stir It Up” by Bob Marley dishonors Marley’s legacy.

His attack on Sarkodie did not bode well for certain persons like Efya, Arnold, Kwabena Kwabena, and Nana Aba Anamoah so they hit back at the reggae musician.

This comes after Blakk Rasta’s recent attack on Sarkodie, in which he called Sarkodie’s appearance on a remix of Bob Marley’s “Stir It Up”.

Saying “What Sarkodie was nothing but a desecration of the legacy of Bob Marley. It is so shameful. What Sarkodie did is nothing but a desecration of the holy music of Bob Marley. It is like a king has been buried and you go and dig him up and steal his gold and diamonds that he’s been buried with.”

“Dear Charles Takyi-Boadu, Extend my warm greetings to the Abusuapanin of the Bob Marley family nationwide, Abusuapanin Blakk Rasta. Please tell him that the least he can do right now, is to use the same medium, and platforms and just render an unqualified apology to Sarkodie. After watching this video, I don’t think he even qualifies to call himself a Reggae artist. I wonder what Bob Marley himself will say after watching this video. Tell him to just apologize to Sarkodie! yours Nii”. Charles Tagoe said.

Along with that, he also included a song by Blakk Rasta, in which the reggae musician purportedly sings in Chinese.
