Rev. Korankye Ankrah Commands Angels To Arrest Akufo-Addo And Ofori-Atta’s Hearts Against Touching Individual Bondholders’ Investments

The General Overseer of the Royal House Chapel, Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah, has summoned the President and his advisors before God over the government’s intended inclusion of individual bond holders in the debt exchange programme.

Pressure has been mounting on government from all angles to abort the idea since it will impoverish many people.

Although President Akufo-Addo had promised there would be no haircuts for individual bondholders under the programme, there’s now a U-turn by government.

The Ghana Individual Bondholders Forum has warned that bondholders will lose 88.2% of their investments at the current inflation rate if the government implements the decision.

The individual bondholders are unhappy that the President’s promise of no loss or haircut is telling out to be false. Some members of the incumbent government are equally against the decision.

The Nsawam Adoagyiri MP, Frank Annoh-Dompreh, has said it is unfair and untenable.

Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah, who appears very concerned about the situation, is asking God to stop the country’s leaders from touching the savings of the poor.

He raised prayers against the move during the church’s annual week of the altar programme on Sunday.

“If they will not hear any voice, let them hear the voice of Jehovah God Almighty and warm them, oh God, that when you are in power and authority, you don’t touch the savings of the poor because when the poor people decide to cry, there will be judgement from heaven” he prayed.

“I send you holy angels, go and arrest the heart of the President, his vice and the Finance Minister and their advisors.”

He prayed that the leaders would become more sensitive to the plight of the people.

“Let them hear the voice of righteousness and the poor and the vulnerable.”

He also prayed to commit the country into God’s hands asking for God to “help our nation from collapsing, bring our finances back to life, let our economy work again.”
