Rihanna, Jhené Aiko Targeted By Car Thieves Days Apart in Los Angeles

Just a few days apart, vehicle thieves in Los Angeles targeted Jhené Aiko and Rihanna. TMZ claims that RiRi’s driver’s car was taken from the scene of a car theft last week at her residence in the Los Angeles area.

According to law enforcement, the driver drove up to Rihanna’s California home and went inside to get something before fleeing in the driver’s 2012 Audi sedan.

The motorist left the car running with the keys inside, but when he went back outside, the car was gone. Although the LAPD is still looking into the event, it seems the suspect made a quick getaway.

While out for supper at Tasty Noodle House in Los Angeles on March 18, Jhené Aiko, a fellow R&B artist, had her 2020 Range Rover stolen.

According to TMZ, the Souled Out performer handed the valet her car’s keys at around 8:30 p.m. and then drove away. After about 30 minutes, Aiko noticed someone leaving in her opulent SUV. She believed the valet personnel was merely moving the car, but it was never brought back.

The car theft for Rihanna comes soon after a tense incident at her house earlier this month when an unidentified man turned up at her door to propose to her.

According to sources, the invader drove up to her house from South Carolina but was met by security. He was then handcuffed before being asked about his motivations after the police were summoned. Officers subsequently determined that he had not technically broken any laws, and he was released.
