Same People Who Mock Me Over My Fashion Sense Also Laugh At KiDi- Kuame Eugene

Kuami Eugene has replied to complaints over his sense of fashion. Some fans and critics believe the musician’s style of dressing is unsuitable for a public figure and have been criticizing him in this regard.

Kuami Eugene defended his sense of style in an interview on the Delay Show by claiming that it was an important component of the entertainment industry.

“I will say some of the things that I do for example the Rags to Riches look was intentional because I’m coming out with an album titled Rags To Riches that speaks about me from the slums where I came from to me being the Kuami Eugene I am today so one of me was representing the streets and one part representing the riches that’s how come I was a clean and rugged outfit,” he explained.

The singer highlighted that he was not disturbed by the comments and was solely focused on his music and brand. The Lynx Entertainment signee said he knows how to dress appropriately but ultimately he does not want to dress in accordance with people’s specifications.

“I know how to dress, I’m an Akyem man. My fashion sense is not to impress others. It’s showbiz, sometimes getting people to talk is part of it” he added.

Kuami Eugene also acknowledged that the people who are constantly bashing him for his looks and comparing him with KiDi also turn back to mock him (KiDi) over his style of dressing.

“The same people criticizing me were also laughing at Kidi that he’s gone to wear ‘Tunabu’ so you can’t really put their thinking a bracket,” he said.

Kuami Eugene lookalike

Kuame Eugene recently issued a stern warning to his lookalike to take precautionary measures because he’s now overstepping his boundaries.

During a recent interview on MX24 TV Kuami Eugene said he’s a brand and a business entity so his lookalike should stop until it ends badly.

He said he initially allowed him to catch some ‘cruise’ but it seems he and the other doppelgangers of other mainstream artistes are now abusing the privilege in consonance with a huge outcry from the public about the nuisance these lookalikes are causing.

He stated; “In those days people used to dress and act like the superstars they admire but I never saw one of them going on stage to go and perform his songs.

That’s like maximum disrespect so it’s another story when you love the person and wants to rep the person on social media but when it gets to a level when it’s becoming too much.

You see what’s going on and you’re enjoying it, that’s why I said people are just selfish because he’s enjoying that fame and that attention at this particular time nothing is stopping him.

Until the whole thing ends bad and then they’ll regret it because I’m a brand and a whole business and I’ll just say trust me it looks good but if you’re enjoying it won’t last.
