Twitter Stands Still For Sarkodie After Stellar VGMA Performance

The reason for Sarkodie’s longevity and versatility in the game was brought to bear during the 24th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards which was held at Accra International Conference Centre on May 6, 2023.

Hi stage presence, mannerism and overall craft highly impressed Ghanaians and at this moment, Twitter is up on its feet for the legend.

The artiste during his memorable performance used the opportunity to thank the people of Ghana for their support over the years.

Additionally, the rapper who holds the title of the most decorated rapper on the continent of Africa won the Best Hiplife/Hiphop Artiste of the Year.

The 2023 edition of the annual Vodafone Ghana Music Awards went down live on May 6, 2023, at the Grand Arena inside the Accra International Conference Centre.

As widely predicted, Black Sherif crowned his remarkable year within the musical calendar year by winning the top-notch Artiste of the Year. He succeeded Lynx Entertainment star KiDi who was crowned Artiste of the Year during the 23rd edition of the Awards which took place in 2022.

Hours before the award ceremony, Tru News Report shared a publication on how a die-hard fan of Sarkodie went down on his knees to idolise the iconic rapper who was moving with his entourage to an unnamed location.

Sarkodie gave his fans in senior high school a dosage of his incredible craftsmanship when he performed at the famous Yaa Asantewaa Senior High School in the Ashanti Region recently.

Probably while in the same region, Sarkodie decided to take a tour around and that was when he came across the fan who slumped to his knees and revered him immediately he set his eyes on him.

The young man held Sarkodie’s hands and gushed over him, telling him how much he loves him from the bottom of his heart in a video originally shared by UTVGhana. The fan’s gesture has sparked varied responses from the internet.
