She Is Disrespectful—Sarkodie Disses Yvonne Nelson Again In New Song Ft. Ice Prince

Sarkodie has once again expressed his thoughts about Yvonne Nelson, his seeming long-standing adversary, shedding light on the reasons behind his previous diss towards her in his viral track ‘Try Me’.

Subtly, Sarkodie addressed this matter in his latest song, ‘Vawulence’, featuring Nigeria’s Ice Prince and Vaadman. Through this collaboration, he subtly hinted at Yvonne Nelson’s disrespectful behaviour, a proclamation he made that evoked a new layer of entertainment in Ghana.

By making her a scapegoat in this new song, which dropped just a few days into January 2024, Sarkodie wanted to convey a message not only to Yvonne Nelson but also to other women who may engage with him romantically or enter any form of relationship with him.

Evidently, this serves as a cautionary note for them.

Sarkodie has finally spoken with the release of his latest single, “Try Me,” following Yvonne Nelson’s public revelation.

The song serves as a direct response to actress Yvonne Nelson’s recent claims in her memoir ‘I am not Yvonne Nelson,’ that Sarkodie impregnated her and subsequently asked her to terminate the pregnancy.

Sarkodie had a lot to say in the song, offering a glimpse into Yvonne’s alleged misconduct during the time they were romantically involved in the first verse:

“I never thought I was gonna be on this wave cos I was ready to take a couple things to my grave. First off, lemme clap for you baby you brave, but you can’t pick and choose what to say please behave…. if you wanna talk, you gotta tell the world every other nigga you fucked.

You cant just play the victim and paint a picture like you were just looking for love from all the dicks that you sucked.”

“I’m not gonna lie we had a thing. first I thought you were cool ’til I had a hint.

Na me fii s3 boys a clocki with the baddest bitch nanso s3 na yenyinaa y3 sesa so s3 cuban links;” which translates: I thought I had hooked up with a wonderful woman, only to discover that there were other men stucked up in line like Cuban links.

The rapper also addressed the pregnancy claims made by the actress-producer in the stanza that goes like:

“Yes I wasn’t ready but I told you to keep it. [and you said you had to complete school first]. To be very honest ’til today I don’t believe it ‘cos [I asked you to go see my doctor], you said you don’t need it.

“After the conversation then you sent me a text [saying a friend of yours had a doctor] and he is the best.

“So don’t make it seem like I was the one pushing you for abortion…..”

Following Yvonne Nelson’s public revelation about her past relationship with Sarkodie, the Ghanaian entertainment industry was abuzz with speculation and curiosity. Fans eagerly awaited Sarkodie’s response.
