Sista Afia Is The Best Artiste In The World- Manager Kofi Clinton Declares
As far as Kofi Clinton is concerned, Sista Afia– the female songstress she manages is the best artiste in the world and this will soon be manifested when she grabs a Grammy which is in the offing.
Kofi Clinton, the head of Ace Khandi Records, believes that Sista Afia’s musical talent is superior to that of many in the music business and that she is deserving of all the praise for having created a number of successful songs over the years.
Kofi Clinton acknowledged his love for Sista Afia’s profound comprehension of beautiful music in an interview, citing her amazing vocal prowess and lyrical vibes as examples.
“She is a beacon of hope for Ghanaian music in terms of getting our first female Grammy award winner, and I believe she will get there, and I entreat Ghanaians to support her because she has all the talent,” he said in an interview.
Indeed Sista Afia’s musical prowess can’t be questioned although she is yet to receive widespread acclaim as she deserves.
Sista Afia was in the news recently when she justified the reason why she is not married by saying there are far more important things in life than marriage.
Clearly opposed to the importance Africans place on marriage and procreation, the Ghanaian songstress, who has a handful of hit songs to her name, stated that she is not in a rush to marry simply because of societal pressure.
She voiced out this sentiment when she spoke to Doreen Avio on Daybreak Hitz.
I don’t see life to be all about marriage and having kids. Life is a beautiful thing and it has a lot of angles. If I don’t get married, it doesn’t mean I wouldn’t do better in life. Marriage doesn’t define me.
The singer also revealed that when she was younger, she wished to marry and have children at a young age.
I was a young girl and I remember telling myself that I would get married at the age of 21; I’d have twins at the age of 24, and another set of twins later. I was very young and I was very naïve and I didn’t know much about marriage and life, but now I do I’m not in a rush. It’s my dream to have a kid, but if I don’t even get married, it’s fine but for a kid it’s something I would want to have.
She concluded by saying, “Married people these days… it is crazy. Considering this generation… Because we have social media, people do not see the importance of so many things anymore. If you’re a woman, whatever you want to do, be it marriage, you can go ahead and do it, but for me, I’m just being me and I don’t regard marriage.”
