Sista Afia Sets Her Eyes On Black Stars Player Semenyo After His Exploits Against CAR

Songstress Sista Afia is apparently smitten by Black Stars player Antoine Semenyo and has inquired about his relationship status in a social media post shortly after Ghana locked horns with their counterparts from the Central African Republic (CAR).

The Black Stars booked their place in the Africa Cup of Nations to be staged in Ivory Coast next year when they beat CAR at the Baba Yara Stadium with goals from Mohammed Kudus and Ernest Nuamah. Semnyo played a pivotal role in securing the victory, as it was his hard work that got Ghana the second goal after tirelessly disposing the CAR player of the ball and setting up Nuamah to score.

His other effort during the dying embers of the game saw him hitting the woodwork. His work impressed Ghanaians, including Ghanaian singer Sista Afia. The ‘Jeje’ hitmaker swiftly took to her Facebook page to ask if Semonyo was single so she could obviously ‘link up’ with him.

She posted thus; “Is Semenyo Single ? a just dey ask oo.”

Antoine Semenyo is a professional footballer who plays for Premier League side AFC Bournemouth and the Ghana national team. Known for playing in the striker position, Semenyo has also played as a right winger or second striker in his career.

Semenyo is of Ghanaian heritage and was born in England. On June 1, 2022, he made his international debut for Ghana in a 3-0 victory over Madagascar in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match.

Semenyo was added to Ghana’s 26-man roster for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar on November 14, 2022. On January 27, 2023, Semenyo signed a four-and-a-half-year, £10 million contract with AFC Bournemouth. On April 30, 2023, he scored his first league goal in a 4-1 victory over Leeds at home.
