Social Media Users, Companies Shower Gifts On Woman Who Woke Up At 4:30 Am To Cook For Her Husband

A Nigerian woman, Debbie, has gained widespread attention on the internet for her dedication to her husband.

To strengthen their new marriage, Debbie decided to go above and beyond by waking up at 4:30 a.m. to prepare a meal for her husband.

The catalyst for this behaviour change was when her husband mentioned that he would be having lunch with a female colleague. Determined to show her commitment and love, Debbie took it upon herself to ensure her husband had a homemade meal before he left for work.

“I’ve always been too lazy to wake up and get his lunch ready. But the day he told me a colleague brought two spoons so he’ll eat with her, was the day I set my alarm for 4:50 am,” she wrote on Thursday.

Her story quickly went viral, capturing the hearts of many Nigerians who admired her dedication as a wife. As a result, Debbie has been showered with extravagant gifts from generous individuals who appreciate her efforts.

In a recent update, social media users have promised Debbie even more lavish presents. These include an iPhone 15 Pro Max, a Smart TV, and a DStv subscription. Within a matter of hours, numerous individuals reached out to offer their support and gifts, further highlighting the impact of Debbie’s story.

One social media user, @reallest_gee, pledged a brand new iPhone 15, saying, “Good day Ma @_Debbie_OA, for being such a good wife, I have this iPhone available for you. The delivery is on me, and anytime you want to use data, feel free to text me. Retweet until she sees this.”

Another user, @davidchibuike_, vowed to gift her a Smart TV, stating, “I have this gently used TV and cabinet I no longer use due to exams. You and your husband deserve it.”

@Wizarab10 also joined the list, mentioning that his friend intends to gift them a DStv. He said, “@Wizarab10, my friend wants to give you guys a TV and DStv with a one-year subscription. Please, how much will that cost?”
