Stonebwoy Inherited Samini’s Beef With Me—Shatta Wale
In a recent interview on 3FM, Shatta Wale shed light on the origins of his long-standing feud with Stonebwoy.
According to Wale, the beef initially escalated when his rivalry with Samini reached its peak. At that time, Stonebwoy, who was under Samini’s wing and signed to the Highgrade Family record label, unexpectedly joined in the feud.
This unexpected involvement laid the foundation for their ongoing animosity, which has unfortunately divided their fan bases. Despite his efforts to reconcile with Stonebwoy, including collaborating on a song together, Wale expressed his disappointment in the lack of cooperation from the Bhim Nation boss.
Shatta Wale claims he holds no grudge against Stonebwoy, but it is Stonebwoy who has generational issues with him.
“Constant times i have talked to Stonebwoy and he has told me that he likes that thing make we keep that Nima- Ashaiman. Where are we taking it to?” Shatta Wale said.
“We need to come together. Do you understand what i am saying? It is not only about Stonebwoy. Stonebwoy i do not have any problem with him. Stonebwoy he dey carry generation beef wey he take enter this life because it was Samini that i was having issues with. I do not have any problem with Stonebwoy. You see what i am just trying to say is that i have spoken to him on countless times for us to focus on proper movement of this music business but he is into… can’t you see some of the statements that he makes? Me i get shocked”, he clarified further.
According to Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy has a problem because he does not see why he would like to put the musician on or do something together with him but he would act like he is bigger than Shatta Wale.
“You see, I don’t have anything to lose in this. If me and Stonebwoy come together wey we do something it will look good but me i am not looking at money.
“I hope we can teach people something. And this is not a guy I don’t want to talk to. Up till now when he broadcasts it comes to my phone you see, I have not blocked him. Do you get what i say? He has problem and that is what I want you guys to know”, Shatta concluded.
