“Stop Fooling With The Gospel” – Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo Blasts Brother Sammy
Ghanaian entertainment pundit Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo has criticised Broda Sammy for using a lady shaking her ass to promote his album launch.
According to the entertainment pundit, what Broda Sammy made the lady do in the house of the Lord was extremely shameful and very disturbing, in the latest entertainment news.
“As I’m sitting here, I’m praying that God gives me patience because the foolishness is getting too much. The point is that in the house of the Lord, what we saw was very shameful, very disturbing, and very troubling. See, this is one of the silly things they used to do in Jerusalem that made Jesus took cane to beat them; in the eyes of the Lord, it’s an eyesore.” he said.
Speaking on UTV’s United Showbiz, Arnold stated that he had an issue with how Broda Sammy was justifying his actions and made mockery of those who had a problem with it.
“Bull said we should forgive him, but you see, when you called him, and he was remorseful and apologetic… and he has realised that he went overboard like that is ok. But he was rather justifying and actually making mockery of those who have a problem with it. See, we all like Broda Sammy, and as Piesie Esther said, he is gifted and all, but he should stop fooling with the gospel; the fooling is getting too much. Mzbee, I grew up in the church; I don’t know about you.
“40 years of the gospel, but we that grew and followed the church, I haven’t seen this ever in my life, and let’s put this into proper perspective in his justification. He said when you are in church and you are endured, you shake. That is different. There are a lot of well-enduring women that go to church; it’s no fault of theirs.“
In response to a video showing a woman gyrating and shaking her buttocks at the recent album launch of the gospel performer. Arnold stated that Broda Sammy is going overboard and does not seem to realise that he is fooling.
“But those people wear dresses that cover their bodies. But this is a gentleman who is inviting multitudes to the church. You see the difference; it’s not like envagelism; he’s inviting people, saying that God is here, you should come, and this is the way we go about it. This is madness; this is silly, and he has the infantry to actually defend it.
“If we were in the olden days when God was not so forgiven, there would be a tunder strike to kill him fast because you cannot do this in the house of the Lord. It is abominable, but I don’t blame Broda Sammy because over the period he has shown us that he’s unorthodox and unconventional; what we all know to be Christlike, he doesn’t like it that way, but we have here in Ghana and have entertained him.
He continued, saying that Broda Sammy would have stopped doing the things that were bringing shame to the Kingdom of God if any prominent people or pastors had advised or scolded him about them.
“I can list you all the things he has done that are not in the direction of the gospel, but we just sit back and watch him. That is why he has the infantry to pull this stunt. If, when he started, and some elderly people or pastors scolded him, he would stopped.“
