The Youth Are Lazy, There’s No Hardship In Ghana- Diana Asamoah
During an interview on Kingdom FM, Diana Asamoah, the renowned gospel singer, reaffirmed her unwavering support for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) while criticizing Ghanaians who assert that there is widespread hardship under the leadership of Nana Akufo Addo.
Asamoah, whose popularity has diminished due to statements of this nature, attributed the high unemployment rate in the country to the attitudes of the youth towards employment opportunities.
She said;
“Nearly 90% of the youth I hear complaining about not finding a job have jobs they could do but can’t because of their character. Again, I’ll say it: most Ghanaians lack employment due to their character. It’s a fact, she stated. That there is hardship in Ghana is untrue,” she said. Some people shouldn’t have any trouble with it. Since you work here, you could have been fired by now if it weren’t for your integrity and hard work.”
In a previous declaration made in October, she urged Ghanaians to cease their ingratitude and acknowledge President Nana Akufo-Addo’s commendable efforts. She emphasized that, at the very least, the implementation of the “free S.H.S” policy by Akufo-Addo and his administration merits recognition from the citizens of Ghana.
In a recent appearance on the United Showbiz Show, she said:
“My father has done well. Stop being ungrateful. There are so many children in school because of him. He’s done well. Even if he hasn’t done anything, children are in school for free. He deserves some praise.”
