Thomas Partey believes the success of Arsenal as far as their title-chasing quest this season is concerned solely depends on the ambition of the young players within the team.
The Gunners in their last league outing came from behind to defeat AFC Bournemouth 3-2, with Partey splashing the comeback with the first goal. Reiss Nelson, a 23-year-old winger, scored the game-winning goal in the 97th minute after coming off the substitute to give Arsenal the victory.
Reiss Nelson’s 97th-minute goal from restored Arsenal’s five-point lead at the top of the Premier League and sparked jubilant celebrations among the Arsenal players and coaching staff.
It’s against this background that Partey emphasized that they are capable of achieving anything they put their minds to, including winning the Premier League championship because they have the necessary maturity, experience, and readiness.
“Well, I think now they are not younger players anymore. They have experience. They have been playing for a long time. They are mature.
“I think it is time for them to be able to achieve whatever they want to achieve. That is their dream. I think they are all ready to achieve this,” Partey said according to The Independent.
