Vin Diesel Confirms The Release Date Of Fast X: Part 2
Anyone who has seen Fast X will understand my bafflement. Many fans probably thought this was the final chapter of the series, but there will really be a sequel. Fast X: Part 2, the next installment of the franchise, won’t be hitting theatres at full speed, so we’ll have to wait to enjoy it.
The popular saga will return with its primary character as well as a large number of returning and new cast members. Vin Diesel has announced that the second installment of Fast X, the eleventh installment of the franchise, will be released on April 4, 2025.
The actor shared the information on his personal Instagram account. In a photo in which he appears next to Jason Momoa, the actor took the opportunity to praise his co-star.
“April 4th 2025… is less than 22 months away.,” he has said in the Instagram post. The actor has celebrated the work of the actors, which he describes as expressive and collaborative: “Jason wanted to try something totally unique and special and ended up creating a scene stealing character” that viewers “won’t forget.”
He adds: “7 billion means nothing if it doesn’t represent the true feeling of family and loyalty. For those who didn’t know the Fast X was just part one, know that part two is going to be an effort from our fast family and studio like you have never seen.”
There are still many months to go before Fast X: Part 2 hits theatres around the world. Meanwhile, Fast X has only been in theatres for three weeks, but it’s now available to view on digital. Fast X was released on May 19, 2023. Making it a 21-day window between theatrical release and streaming availability.
The story goes back in time and brings back one of the characters from the fifth installment, the son of drug lord Hernan Reyes. Since the fall of his father, Dante has plotted his revenge and organised an operation to kill Dom’s son.
