Watch How A Nigerian Student Was Hospitalized After Washing for Over 50 Hours In Attempt To Set A Guinness Record

In an ambitious attempt to set a new Guinness World Record, Subair Enitan, a student at Obafemi Awolowo University, embarked on a handwashing marathon that unfortunately led to her hospitalization.

The Nigerian at the conclusion of the marathon surpassed her initial goal of 50 hours and extended the wash-a-thon to an impressive 58 hours.

She is however reported to have collapsed after the wash-a-thon and was rushed to a hospital for medical attention.

A video shows her white and wrinkled hands, a clear consequence of the prolonged handwashing.

The footage also shows her lying down on a bed in what appears to be a medical ward, highlighting the toll the marathon took on her health.

The incident is said to have occured sometime in November this year.

As of now, the Guinness World Record has not officially announced Enitan as a new record breaker.
