Watch How King Promise’s Family Prayed Fervently During Blackout At Promiseland Concert

According to a previous report by Tru News Report, the Promiseland concert did not go as expected due to various issues, such as a blackout and technical difficulties.

During the difficult period when their relative’s show was on the cusp of a catastrophic flop, King Promise’s family sought refuge in God, leading them to seek God’s intervention on his behalf.

In the Ghanaian music industry, there is a belief among some artistes that their colleagues may engage in spiritual attacks to undermine their success, especially if they are surpassing them. This belief influenced the prayer session organized by King Promise’s family.

As previously mentioned, the event, which was supposed to kick off at 8 p.m. at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, suffered from a series of technical mishaps, including frequent blackouts.

Patrons who eagerly flocked to the venue to witness King Promise and other top acts were left frustrated when the concert started late.

According to Kenneth Awotwe Darko, an entertainment journalist who was present at Promiseland, there was a complete lack of electricity to power the show as of 11:28 p.m. Furthermore, the stage was not even fully set up when most fans arrived at the scheduled time.

After a six-hour delay, the show finally began after midnight. However, the damage had already been done. It is worth noting that last year’s event also suffered from similar issues, with the show starting late despite fans giving King Promise some leeway due to his previous mishap with WizKid.

King Promise posted a heartfelt video of his family engaging in prayer, expressing deep gratitude for their unwavering support.
