“We Cast Demons Out Of Human, Does It Mean Humans Are Demonic?” – Celestine Donkor Slams Sonnie Badu Over Pork Remarks

Ghanaian gospel musician Celestine Donkor, has described Sonnie Badu’s statements that eating pork makes one vulnerable to demonic possession as ridiculous. The singer stated that spirituality has nothing to do with food and that the claims are false.

During a conversation on United Showbiz sighted by Tru News Report, Celestine Donkor shared her opinions on the topic, saying “We cast demons out of human beings. Does it mean that humans are demonic? I don’t believe it, to be honest, I don’t think you can tell someone their hair is bushy so they should go and trim it to get sense as if it the hair that is blocking their sense. It doesn’t make sense to assume someone is possessed just because they like pork.

The gospel artist shed some further insight on the matter by encouraging pastors to provide sermons that strive to address societal concerns rather than spreading silly concepts.

Celestine Donkor thought it would have made more sense if Sonnie Badu talked about the consequences of eating pork. “If his remarks had been more health-oriented, I might be able to take his message to heart, but pork has absolutely nothing to do with spirituality” she said.

The statements made by Rev. Sonnie Badu have subsequently created a heated controversy among internet users, with the majority rejecting the idea. There were many others on the internet, including well-known Ghanaian broadcaster Kwame Sefa Kayi, who disputed the claims.

Prophet Kumchacha also said that there is no biblical evidence to show that pork is unholy and should not be consumed. “When you read the Bible, pork is not listed in the things that defile the human body. I love pork meat because it is tasty. So, I will plead with my brother Sonnie Badu not to condemn my favourite,”

“When you go to East Legon, you see rich people lined up with expensive cars to buy pork. It is wealthy and important people who eat pork. So, no one claim that because Jesus commanded evil spirit to enter into some pigs, it is not good for consumption.

“While that is true, those pigs run and drowned in the sea and it is the fishes that eat dead animals in the sea, so if you don’t eat pork then stop eating sea fish and allow us to eat our pork.,” he added.
