Wendy Shay Involved In Ghastly Car Accident On Kwabenya Road

Wendy Shay has reportedly been involved in a ghastly accident and a corresponding video showing her mangled vehicle has catapulted her fans and Ghanaians in general into a state of apprehension.

The collision reportedly happened Saturday night on the route between ACP and Kwabenya in Accra, according to a number of sources coordinated by UTV, leaving the singer terrified. Thankfully, she did not lose her life, but she did get hurt. The front side of the Jeep Wrangler with the license plate SHAY 21-19 is clearly damaged in a video taken from the accident scene via the UTV’s lenses.

Witnesses claim that Wendy Shay’s Jeep Wrangler ran into a sand-filled tipper truck. On Saturday night’s United Showbiz episode of UTV, Prince Obimpeh, UTV’s deputy news editor, who was at the accident scene, conducted a live interview about what happened.

He said: “You are aware that the stretch of road between the ACP Junction and Kwabenya is typically clear at night, thus despite the presence of police, cars are frequently traveling at top speed. Coming out of the valley, not far from the KNUST Accra Campus Junction, I noticed a group of people gathering around a car.

“I made the decision to park and observe what was going on. When I checked, I saw a woman getting out of a car. She resembled Wendy Shay and had dreadlocks… I got closer, I could see that it was Wendy Shay. Shay, the Wrangler she was driving had a unique registration. I quickly drew up to her and inquired as to what was going on. She said she was in an excruciating head pain after hitting her head on the dashboard and that she is unable to speak much.
