WhatsApp To End Support For 49 Smartphones – Full List

WhatsApp has said that as of October 24, 2023, it will no longer work with 49 smartphone models.

This includes two iPhones (the iPhone 5 and the iPhone 5c) as well as multiple Samsung, LG, and Huawei mode. The list of unsupported devices can be found on the WhatsApp FAQ page.

The reason for this change is that WhatsApp regularly updates its app with new features and some older devices are unable to keep up with these changes.

As a result, users of these unsupported devices will need to upgrade to a newer model or use a different messaging service altogether. Additionally, users who have already purchased one of the unsupported devices must do a factory reset in order to use WhatsApp.
