Why I Don’t Post My Wife & Children On Social Media – Actor Aki

Renowned actor, Chinedu Ikedieze, popularly known as Aki, has disclosed that he maintains a low profile for his wife and children due to his status as a public figure.

The 45-year-old diminutive actor stated that he refrains from showcasing his family on social media platforms to ensure their privacy. During a recent interview with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, Ikedieze emphasized that he is mindful of the impact that public knowledge of their relationship could have on his loved ones.

The thespian said; “I have children but I decided to put them aside because I’m the celebrity, they are not. I just want them to be free because the moment everybody gets to know them, it would affect them. And I don’t want that.

“So, I hide them even my wife apart from our wedding announcement that I made, so that she can go to market, do every other thing without much ado.”

Aki is a Nigerian actor, entrepreneur, and investor who has gained widespread recognition for his work in the film industry. He is particularly renowned for his role alongside Osita Iheme in numerous movies, following their breakthrough as a duo in the 2002 film Aki na Ukwa.

Over the course of his career spanning more than two decades, Aki has appeared in over 150 films, often portraying the role of a child due to his stature and physical appearance. He is widely known by his stage name, Aki, which he earned through his performance in Aki na Ukwa.

In 2011, Aki married fashion designer Nneoma Nwaijah, and the couple welcomed their first child in 2012. Aki entered the Nollywood industry in 2000 and gained recognition for his breakthrough role in Aki na Ukwa, where he played the character of Aki alongside fellow little person actor Osita Iheme.

This role cemented their bond, and the duo became popularly known as “Aki and Paw Paw” following the release of the film in 2002. They have since appeared together in numerous films, often taking on lead roles, and their onscreen and offscreen chemistry has been widely praised by the Nollywood community.
