Why I Said I Am 24 Years Old- Yaw Dabo Opens Up About Foreign Interview

Yaw Dabo has revealed that during the interview he gave to the Spanish media outlet Marca, he was hesitant to divulge his real age, but his integrity overcame him.

Yaw Dabo went viral on the Ghanaian landscape of the internet after his explosive interview he granted to a foreign journalist from Marca in Spain immediately after the epic clash between Real Madrid and Manchester City in the Champions League.

Apparently, the Ghanaian actor attended the first leg of the semi-final tie between Real Madrid and Manchester City at Santiago Bernabeu and the lenses of the unnamed journalist who was interviewing soccer fans randomly outside the stadium after the pulsating game that ended 1-1.

Dabo was disappointed in the result but expressed optimism that Real Madrid have the quality to go through at the expense of the English giant who are chasing a treble this season.

The actor warned Erling Haaland that Real Madrid will cut off his supplies, naming Kevin De Brune as the most dangerous player. Dabo asserted that Madrid should have received a few penalties and that the referee was biased and unfair to them.

Dabo enthusiastically discussed the matter in a brand-new interview on Wontumi TV. The actor claimed that he almost told the truth when the journalist asked him about his age after being clearly impressed by his insights and judgment of the game.

“When the white man asked me about my age, I did not want to mention it. If you watched the video, I was a bit hesitant, I wanted to change my age but I reconsidered my decision because I was there to get help for my club.

“Some of these foreigners like truth and loyalty so I decided to say I am 24 years. The interviewer then said, ‘respect, respect’, and from there, we continued with the interview”, Dabo said.
