Woman Arrested Outside Taylor Swift’s Home Despite Previous Warnings
A woman has been arrested for allegedly trespassing on Taylor Swift’s Rhode Island property.
Police were called to the singer’s mansion on Monday afternoon after receiving a report of a trespasser, according to Westerly Police Department Chief Paul Gingerella. When officers arrived, they detained a lady who they claim had previously been told to keep off Taylor’s property.
TMZ obtained photos showing the suspect being handcuffed outside the front gate to Taylor’s home … smack in the middle of three “NO TRESPASSING” signs.
Kimberly Meyer, 54, was the lady who was detained and charged with one misdemeanour count of trespassing, according to court documents obtained by TMZ. Although she was released from detention, she must appear in court again on July 14. It’s unclear who dialled 911, but witnesses claim that Taylor’s security instructed the woman to leave but she wouldn’t budge.
According to a person familiar with the circumstances, TMZ… Although it’s unknown if Taylor was really home when she was arrested, she was staying at the house over the holiday weekend. Several people have been detained outside Taylor’s residence over the years, including a man in 2019 who was allegedly in possession of a crowbar, gloves, a bat, and lockpicks.
