Adebayor Finally Comes To Funny Face’s Rescue
Togolese legend Emmanuel Sheyi Adebayor has come to the rescue of his Ghanaian companion, Funny Face, following a heartfelt plea for forgiveness on social media.
In a recent update, Funny Face shared a captivating photograph of himself and Adebayor, accompanied by his cherished motto, ‘Gye Nyame’, a development that has added an aura to entertainment in Ghana.
Although no further details were disclosed by the comedian regarding the circumstances surrounding Adebayor’s decision to reconcile and revive their friendship, it is refreshing to note that their bond has been rekindled.
Recall that Adebayor and Funny Face’s relationship was strained when the latter, amidst his battle with bipolar disorder, inexplicably unleashed a barrage of insults upon Adebayor a few years ago without any provocation.
Asamoah Gyan has initiated a social media campaign urging Ghanaians to extend financial assistance to Funny Face, following the actor’s disclosure of his current financial struggles on social media.
Gyan, in a heartfelt post, expressed how deeply moved he was after speaking to the comedian immediately after he shared his predicament online.
The conversation left Gyan emotionally touched, prompting him to appeal to all Ghanaians to provide financial support to Funny Face through mobile money. With Funny Face’s consent, Gyan shared the actor’s contact number and encouraged everyone to contribute towards his well-being.
Tru News News previously highlighted the woes of the ‘Cow and Chicken’ producer after he stormed social media to spill out his frustration with how life is treating him.
After his bipolar disorder and the subsequent drama, Funny Face, whose real name is Benson Nana Yaw Oduro, revealed in his emotional post that he is still struggling financially and has yet to recover.
In a post Funny Face shared, he revealed that he is barely able to afford his daily meals due to the depletion of his resources.
Additionally, he mentioned that his financial situation is further exacerbated by the fact that he has burned bridges with his previous benefactors, such as Bola Ray and Adebayor. As a result, Funny Face says he is still unable to regain his financial stability.
Amobiyee Naa, a netizen, offered advice to him, urging him to reconcile with Bola Ray, Fada Dickson, and Adebayor. These three distinguished personalities, known for their significant financial support, have played a crucial role in assisting him but he paid them back with ‘evil’ by insulting them on social media during his relapse.
