Anya Taylor-Joy, Chris Hemsworth Star In George Miller’s “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga”
Five years after revolutionizing the action movie industry with “Mad Max: Fury Road,” director George Miller revealed plans for more “Mad Max” and “Imperator Furiosa” films.
Well, the wait is over! “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” is set to hit theatres on May 24, 2024, and is already generating significant excitement among fans and the film community.
Directed by George Miller, who co-wrote the film with Nico Lathouris, “Furiosa” serves as both a spin-off and a prequel to “Mad Max: Fury Road,” as well as the fifth film in the Mad Max franchise.
The film stars Anya Taylor-Joy as the title character, Imperator Furiosa, with Chris Hemsworth, Alyla Browne, and Tom Burke in supporting roles. The story traces the origin of the iconic character, offering a deeper look into the world of “Mad Max” and the events that shaped Furiosa’s journey before she teamed up with Mad Max in “Fury Road.”
