Ayensuano NPP Primaries: Mark Okraku-Mantey Submits Nomination Form

The Deputy Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture, Mark Okraku-Mantey, has filed his nomination forms to run in the NPP parliamentary primary for the Ayensuano Constituency in the Eastern Region.

A large group of people came out to show their support for him, including local politicians, traditional leaders, celebrities, and constituents. Award-winning singer Trigmatic was among the celebrities who joined the Deputy Minister.

Mark Okraku Mantey donated GHS10,000 to help fund the construction of a party office in Ayensuano. He also promised to concentrate on improving the infrastructure, creating new job possibilities, ensuring access to highly qualified education and providing quality health care in the constituency.

Okraku Mantey’s campaign is expected to face fierce opposition as Bulldog has already stated his intentions to campaign fervently against Mark Okraku-Mantey’s candidature.

During a conversation on UTV’s United Showbiz, Bulldog claims that ever since Mark became a deputy minister, he has been extremely disrespectful whenever he is asked about matters affecting the entertainment business.

He went on to say that Mark has broken every promise he made when being vetted for the ministerial post and as deputy minister, so he should not be given any consideration in his ambition to become an MP.
