“Before Giving The Loan, Ask How Much Was Spent On The Mounted Stage For The US Vice President – A Plus To IMF

Controversial Ghanaian politician, entrepreneur, and social activist, Kwame Asare Obeng, known in the entertainment industry as Kwame A Plus was disappointed with the platform that was set up for Kamala Harris at the Kotoka International Airport on March 26, 2023.

In an Instagram post that Tru News Report came across, A Plus urged the IMF to inquire about the Ghanaian government’s expenditures for building the stage on which the US Vice President delivered her address before giving Ghana a loan.

The first female Vice President of the United States, Kamala Harris, and the second gentleman, Douglas Emhoff, arrived in Ghana on March 26 for a working visit.

Kirsten Allen, the press secretary for Vice President Harris, released a statement in which she said that the trip will “strengthen the United States’ relationships throughout Africa and advance our shared effort on security and economic growth.”

Kamala Harris starts a nine-day trip to Africa yesterday. She will start in Ghana and then go to Tanzania and Zambia. Her trip is part of the Biden Administration’s efforts to reach out to African nations.

The stage on which she stood to give her address has also generated discussion, especially on social media since it has drawn attention away from the historic nature of her visit.
