Blakk Rasta Insists Efya Is A Drug Addict As He Rubbishes Her Mom’s Claim

Blakk Rasta has unleashed venom on a seemingly familiar foe, Efya, by rubbishing claims made by her mom that a false media report has gravely harmed her daughter.

During his regular show on 3FM, the maverick musician and philosopher went in hard on Efya, premised on an utterance from her mom made recently when she mentioned that her daughter’s brand is almost on the decline because of how the media is treating her with false narratives.

The Barack Obama hitmaker said instead of Efya’s mom to apportion the blame on no nonexistent issues. The Reggae musician and on-air personality said Efya is so much into drugs, and that has been the causative agent of her gradual destruction.

He further said if Efya doesn’t redefine her personality and ditch the drugs, it will soon send her to her early grave. His outburst is hinged on recent claims made by Nanahemaa Adwoa Awindor, the mother of award-winning songstress Efya, who revealed how false rumours in the media have gravely affected her daughter’s brand.

Nanahemaa Adwoa Awindor, who is fondly remembered for her show, ‘Greetings from Abroad’ way before her daughter became a celebrity, recently said in an interview that although she always encourages her daughter to ignore the negativity, the reportage has harmed her reputation.

“I know my daughter, I tell her not to take it in but pray about it, it will die off. The stories break her because these are instances where you are working on something to push her and these things come up.

“This is why I was saying that we need to be careful of the way we do things and say things because you never know the effects.

“There was an instance we were working on a huge project and such news broke out. If you are an investor and you want to invest in a person and you hear such things, whether it is true or not, before you say jack, you may have taken a step back to check it,” she said.

The queen mother of Afigya-Kwabre in the Ashanti Region claims that despite the criticism that continues to overshadow her daughter’s works and reputation, she has no regrets about encouraging her daughter to pursue a career in music. She showed confidence in Efya’s bright future and used the criticism as a “propeller” to launch her to new heights.
